Countdown Event App – Privacy Policy

Sunscale Solutions ('we', 'our', or 'us') is the developer of the Countdown Event app ('the App'). This Privacy Policy explains how the App collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you install it in your Shopify store. By installing or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. This policy applies only to data processed through the App and does not cover Sunscale Solutions' website or other services, which are governed by our separate Privacy Policy.

The App accesses and processes only the information needed to provide its features: • Store Information: Your store name, store URL, locale, currency, time zone, and plan details provided by Shopify • Account Information: Your name, email address, and shop owner details as available through your Shopify account • Countdown and Configuration Data: The countdown timers, campaigns, settings, and preferences you create within the App, including dates, labels, display styles, and scheduling options • Content Data: Product references, pages, themes, or other store content where you choose to display a countdown, to the extent required to render it • Usage and Log Data: Technical logs, errors, IP address, browser type, device information, and interactions with the App needed for performance, debugging, and support • Support Data: Information you provide when you contact us for help, including emails and messages The App does not collect payment card details, and it does not collect personal information about your store's customers beyond what is strictly necessary to display countdowns on your storefront.

We use the information we collect to: • Provide, operate, and maintain the App's countdown and campaign features • Save and display the settings and content you configure • Send you service-related notifications, such as installation, updates, or errors • Provide customer support and respond to your requests • Monitor performance, diagnose errors, and improve the App • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

The App operates within the Shopify platform and is subject to the Shopify API terms and the Shopify Privacy Policy. Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we process your information on the following legal bases: • Contract: To perform our contract with you by providing the App after you install it • Legitimate Interests: To operate, secure, and improve the App, provided your rights do not override those interests • Consent: Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time • Legal Obligation: Where processing is required by applicable law

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Logs and backups may be retained for a limited period before being overwritten.
